"We have been able to make improvements to our process that eliminate delays to impact positively on the candidate experience. All applications now go straight to the hiring managers to review. Hiring managers now have the autonomy to raise vacancies from templates and create draft offers in the portal to then send for authorisation.''

Resourcing Manager

LiveWest own and manage over 36,000 homes across the South West, from Cornwall to Gloucestershire. They have a common mission; a home for everyone - and each employee of takes pride in contributing to that.

They were formed in March 2018 through the amalgamation of Knightstone Housing and DCH, and since then have built on the best of both organisations.

Following the amalgamation, there was a need to review their systems and ways of working to streamline their approach. They selected Eploy to replace their recruitment systems to provide them with a complete recruitment solution that would improve the candidate experience and work to attract and develop a wide pool of talent that exists in the communities they serve.

LiveWest are using the very latest version of Eploy that allows them to use their application forms as multiple different screening forms that include basic application questions such as Right to Work. They are also benefiting from Eploy's latest Hiring Manager portal and the enhanced functionality such as daily digests that automatically email hiring managers with their outstanding tasks.

Multiple vacancy authorisation workflows are used within Eploy for LiveWest's differing recruitment requirements. They have also embraced name blind applications to show candidate details at interview stage onwards.

Laura Taylor, Resourcing Manager at LiveWest commented, "We have been able to make improvements to our process that eliminate delays to impact positively on the candidate experience. All applications now go straight to the hiring managers to review. Hiring managers now have the autonomy to raise vacancies from templates and create draft offers in the portal to then send for authorisation.

LiveWest also had integration requirements which saw Eploy provide a new starter export, configured in the required format for HR & Payroll, that further extends their recruitment capability.

The onboarding portal further engages improvement with new hires and has been designed to collect new joiner and compliance documentation relevant to the role, for example a driving licence check if a role attracts a car allowance, as well as all the standard checklists such as HMRC and pre-employment questionnaire.

The LiveWest careers site clearly signposts how candidates can search for the latest vacancies, apprenticeship vacancies and what it's like working at LiveWest. The use of video, a strong brand and the company values are engaging candidates to join their talented team across a variety of fields.
